Purpose Of The Trust
The Otago Southland Diabetes Research Trust was set up to facilitate support for diabetes research in Otago and Southland.
Use Of Funds
Funds are used for research into diabetes to finance the purchase of research equipment and the salaries of the specialist research workers, and to provide bursaries, scholarships and fellowships in the field of diabetes research.
A major current focus for present research is the prevention of diabetes and its complications.
